Mother of pearl is an organic material rather than a mineral, associated with calm and the sea, and often loved by those born in June because of its link to pearl. It is soft, around 3.5 on the Mohs scale, so avoid knocks, water, lotions and cleaning products, and wipe it gently with a dry cloth. There are no diamonds on this ring. Every piece differs slightly, and the iridescence photographs differently from real life.
